If you can’t tell from all the exclamation points, I couldn't possibly be more excited to be a reader! I love kids, I've been a preschool TA, camp counselor, older sister and now, reader! A speech and debate kid with diverse interests, I'd be excited to read any story—but my favorite book is The Phantom Tollbooth. See you for a story soon!

Aside from books, my current passions are running track and playing jazz on my saxophone. Some of my favorite reads as a kid were Despereaux, the Hardy Boys series and the Magic Treehouse series. I can’t wait to share some of my favorite childhood books with others!

I like to read because I love being able to explore the different worlds in books and see through other unique perspectives. My favorite book right now is Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. Other than reading, I also love to sing and act in my school’s plays and musicals.

I became a reader because I love talking with young kids and hearing about all the fun things they have to say about books. When I’m not working on school, some of my favorite hobbies are swimming, baking for my family and gardening. I also love to read during my free time because it’s such a relaxing escape for me. Right now, my favorite book is Swing Time by Zadie Smith and my favorite kids book is Bear Snores On.

I became a reader because I love the way listening to stories ignites the imagination. Not only does it allow you to travel to another world, it gives insights into other perspectives and broadens the mind. I love to read all kinds of books, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be the Harry Potter series

I’ve been in love with reading for as long as I can remember! Ever since I was little I found solace in reading and story time. I even made attempts to become a storyteller and would arrange all my stuffed animals and would read them books like, Where the Wild Things Are and The Rainbow Fish. Aside from being an avid reader I enjoy playing my violin, embroidering, and writing poetry.

I love reading because it allows me to explore new worlds and learn about different places. Currently, my favorite books are Pride and Prejudice, I'll Give You the Sun, and The Glass Castle. When I’m not reading, you can find me enjoying one of my other passions: Dance, singing, and playing piano and cello.

The Harry Potter series was my childhood obsession. I have always loved being a mentor to other students—I actually started the peer tutoring program at my school. Besides reading to kids, my loves include coffee and my feral dog, Prince. Looking forward to reading to y’all!

I have always been so intrigued and interested in the wisdom that books hold. When I was younger I would read A Bad Case of Stripes every night! Now some of my favorite books are: Fahrenheit 451, Lord of the Flies, and To Kill a Mockingbird. When I am not reading, I enjoy playing tennis and traveling. I am so excited to be apart of Face Time Story Time!

I didn’t fall in love with literature until my teacher read James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl out loud to the class. After that, I read every Roald Dahl book there was before transitioning to more advanced books. Being read to out loud was essential to me finding my love of reading, and I hope to spark the same love and passion for literature in your children.

Growing up, my favorite book was Pinkalicious and the Rainbow Magic Princess Fairy series. I must have read at least 20 times! I’m so excited to be a part of Face Time Story Time and read online! When I’m not reading, I like to play soccer and love working with kids.

I’ve been an avid reader my whole life, and growing up I’ve always read aloud to my two younger siblings. Some of my favorite children’s books are Goodnight Moon and Harold and the Purple Crayon. My other hobbies include swimming, baking, and working with the environment. I’m super excited to be a part of this program and can’t wait to everyone!

I’ve always loved reading. Growing up, my teachers would read to the whole class and I would be so intrigued, even when I was having a bad day. I decided to become a reader because I want to share the same experience of sharing a really good book. My favorite books are Life in a Fishbowl, the Librarian of Auschwitz, Looking for Alaska, The Catcher in the Rye, and many more.

My favorite book series growing up was the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. As I got older and started reading more mature literature, I began to really enjoy reading books like The Catcher in the Rye and other realistic fiction books. My mom tells me that when I was really little, I loved it when she would read to me, and she told me that I loved books like Goodnight Moon. Besides reading, I am a huge soccer fan, and I also love to travel with my family.

I love to read because it is my way to escape into worlds of fiction and fantasy. I love hearing new stories and sharing my favorite books with others. Personally, my favorite book is Caps for Sale! When I’m not reading, I like to play soccer and musical instruments.

When I was growing up I loved Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Now, one of my favorite authors is Jane Austen and some of my favorite books are The Catcher in the Rye and All Quiet on the Western Front. I love to read because it allows you to transport yourself into different worlds and you can experience the magic of Hogwarts one day and the high society of Pride and Prejudice the next.

I believe that all kinds of people can connect through reading and literature. I love all kinds of books, but my current favorite is called All Quiet On the Western Front. It wouldn’t typically be a book I’d enjoy, but there was just something about the way it was written that drew me in. I love reading to people and seeing their reactions and it’s truly an amazing way to connect with others.

I’ve always loved to read because of the inspiration it provides and creativity it represents. It’s also great to charge one’s imagination. Some of my best memories are of story time, and I hope to pass the experience along. Today, my favorite book is 1984, my favorite graphic novel is Bone, and my absolute favorite comic strip is Calvin and Hobbes—they’re all worth a read.

I started reading when I was in kindergarten and first grade. I really enjoy books because I can enter another world, and follow people through their journeys in their mystical universe. One of my favorite book series is the Max and Liz series, which is continued by the Epic Order of the Seven series. The books follow immortal animals as they live through famous Bible stories and help the stories progress.
